I. PREORDER & PAYMENT POLICY

All Ninaé Studio pieces are handcrafted in limited quantities across three continents, in collaboration with master artisans from Cameroon, Indonesia, and the United Kingdom. Each work is produced exclusively upon confirmed order.

A. Deposit & Payment Structure

A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total purchase price is required at the time of order placement to initiate production. The remaining balance of 50%, including applicable taxes and shipping costs, is due in full prior to shipment or delivery. Orders will not be dispatched until full payment has been received and confirmed.

B. Production Lead Times

Due to the artisanal nature of Ninaé Studio’s work, please allow a lead time of 3 to 16 weeks from the confirmation of your order. Lead times vary according to the complexity of the piece, the availability of materials, and the production schedule of our artisan partners. Lead times commence upon receipt of the following:

  • Confirmation of the order and all specifications
  • Receipt of the 50% deposit
  • Approval of any custom details for bespoke commissions

We will communicate any significant changes to estimated delivery dates as promptly as possible. Expedited production requests may be considered on a case-by-case basis and will incur an additional fee. Please contact our team to discuss your requirements.

C. Price Validity

All quoted prices are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Ninaé Studio reserves the right to adjust pricing after this period. Prices do not include shipping, taxes, customs duties, or installation fees unless explicitly stated in writing.

D. Bespoke Commissions

Bespoke and custom orders are produced exclusively to the client’s specifications and are therefore final upon confirmation. A 50% deposit is required at the time of order. Any changes requested after production has commenced may incur additional fees and extend lead times. Ninaé Studio will advise accordingly.

II. DELIVERY POLICY

A. Delivery Options

Ninaé Studio offers two levels of delivery service, both of which are quoted and invoiced separately from the purchase price of the piece.

Standard Delivery — London

For clients based in London, pieces are delivered via a specialist art and fragile goods transport company. All pieces are carefully packaged in custom-made wooden crates designed to protect the integrity of each work during transit.

Concierge Delivery — London & International

For premium and large-scale pieces — including structural lamps, tapestries, and paintings — Ninaé Studio offers a white glove concierge delivery service. Mélissa Zibi, Founder and Creative Director, personally accompanies and installs each piece at the client’s location, ensuring that the work is presented and placed with full care and intention. This service is available both in London and internationally. International deliveries are coordinated in partnership with Paworcargo, our trusted specialist logistics partner.

Concierge delivery includes:

  • Personal transport of the piece by Ninaé Studio
  • Unpacking and professional installation at the client’s location
  • Placement guidance and orientation of the piece
  • Removal of all packaging materials

Please note the following for concierge deliveries:

  • The designated space must be cleared and prepared prior to the arrival of the piece.
  • The client must advise Ninaé Studio in advance of any access constraints, including lift dimensions, floor level, loading dock requirements, or any building restrictions.
  • Our team is not responsible for the relocation of existing furniture or objects.

B. International Shipping

International deliveries are handled via Paworcargo. All pieces are transported in bespoke wooden crates. Any customs duties, import taxes, and associated fees applicable in the destination country are the sole responsibility of the buyer. Ninaé Studio will provide all necessary documentation to facilitate customs clearance.

C. Transfer of Ownership & Damage Claims

Ownership of the piece transfers to the buyer upon collection by the carrier or at the time of concierge delivery. Any damage must be reported in writing to info@ninae-studio.com within 48 hours of receipt, accompanied by photographic evidence. Claims submitted after this period will not be considered.

D. Storage

If a piece is ready for delivery but the client is unable to receive it, Ninaé Studio will hold the work for a period of 30 days at no additional charge. Beyond this period, a monthly storage fee of 5% of the purchase price will apply until delivery is arranged.

III. RETURNS & REFUND POLICY

Given the handcrafted and limited edition nature of all Ninaé Studio pieces, returns and refunds are subject to strict conditions as set out below.

A. Cancellations During Production

Should a client wish to cancel an order after production has commenced, the following conditions apply:

Cancellation within the first two weeks of production:

Ninaé Studio will retain 30% of the total purchase price to cover materials already sourced and production costs incurred. The remaining 20% of the deposit paid will be refunded to the client within 14 business days.

Cancellation after two weeks of production:

Once production has been underway for more than two weeks, the full 50% deposit is retained by Ninaé Studio to cover the significant production investment already made on behalf of the client. No refund will be issued.

B. Returns — Unopened Packaging

A return may be accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided that the piece has not been removed from its original packaging and the packaging remains fully intact and undamaged. The cost of return shipping, including specialist handling and insurance, is the sole responsibility of the client. Ninaé Studio must be contacted at info@ninae-studio.com before any return is initiated. Returns made without prior authorisation will not be accepted.

C. Returns — Opened Packaging

If a piece has been removed from its original packaging and the client wishes to initiate a return, Ninaé Studio will arrange for a member of our team to visit the client’s location to professionally repack the piece according to our standards. This ensures the integrity and safety of the work during transit. The cost of this repacking service, as well as all return shipping costs, is the responsibility of the client. Pieces that have been installed, altered, or damaged by the client are not eligible for return.

D. The Vinyl Soundtrack

Each piece from the Lien de Sang collection is accompanied by its original vinyl soundtrack, pressed in a limited edition of 100 signed and numbered copies. The vinyl is an integral part of the work and is included in the purchase. It may not be returned or refunded separately from the piece to which it belongs.

E. Non-Returnable Items

The following are not eligible for return or refund under any circumstances:

  • Bespoke and custom-made commissions
  • Pieces that have been installed, modified, or damaged after delivery
  • Pieces returned without prior written authorisation from Ninaé Studio
  • Vinyl soundtracks sold or returned independently of their corresponding piece

IV. TERMS & CONDITIONS

A. Artisanal Craftsmanship & Natural Variations

All Ninaé Studio pieces are handcrafted by skilled artisans using natural materials including raffia, banana fibre, organic cotton, wood, brass, and glass beadwork. As a result, each piece is inherently unique. Natural variations in colour, texture, grain, and finish are an intrinsic characteristic of our work and a hallmark of its authenticity. These variations are not defects and do not constitute grounds for return or refund.

While every effort is made to accurately represent our pieces through photography and descriptions, slight differences between the images displayed and the piece received should be expected, owing to the handcrafted nature of the work and variations in screen calibration.

B. Intellectual Property

All designs, artworks, images, texts, and content associated with Ninaé Studio are the exclusive intellectual property of Mélissa Zibi and Ninaé Studio. No material may be reproduced, distributed, or used commercially without prior written permission. Ninaé Studio’s work is registered with the Design and Artists Copyright Society (DACS), United Kingdom.

C. Artist’s Resale Right

Ninaé Studio’s works may be subject to Artist’s Resale Right (ARR) royalties under UK law upon resale through an art market professional, where the resale price equals or exceeds the equivalent of €1,000. ARR royalties are collected and administered by DACS on behalf of the artist.

D. Privacy

Ninaé Studio is committed to protecting the privacy of its clients. Client information is used solely for the purposes of processing orders, managing delivery, and maintaining client relations. Information is never shared with third parties without consent. Please contact us at info@ninae-studio.com for any privacy-related enquiries.

E. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from a purchase or from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

F. Amendments

Ninaé Studio reserves the right to update these policies at any time. The most current version will always be available on our website at ninae-studio.com. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any revised terms.
